To strengthen our technical team, we are seeking a Technical Specialist who thrives in a production-oriented environment and enjoys translating technical requirements into practical, high-quality solutions.

Are you technically minded, precise, and do you enjoy working at the intersection of engineering and execution? As a Technical Specialist, you will play a key role in the technical preparation of cable assemblies. You ensure that specifications are converted into clear production instructions and documentation.

What will you do?

  • Translating customer requirements into technical documentation and production-ready instructions
  • Preparing and maintaining Bills of Materials (BOM) and technical work instructions
  • Supporting the production and sales team with technical queries and troubleshooting
  • Reviewing technical drawings and specifications for accuracy and feasibility
  • Contributing to process improvements and quality optimisation
  • Collaborating closely with Sales, Operations, and Product Management
  • Improving departmental processes

Your profile

  • Education/Level: Technical education in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Manufacturing, production-oriented environment, or cable/cable assembly business.
  • Languages: Good command of English, both spoken and written (Dutch is a plus).
  • Skills: Proficient with ERP systems, technical documentation, and MS Office.

  • Proactive and solution-oriented when faced with production challenges
  • Strong communicator, able to collaborate effectively with both Sales and Production
  • Flexible and capable of maintaining precision while meeting deadlines
  • A proactive improver with the ability to identify bottlenecks and drive improvement activities through completion
